Our route will basically take us from Walvis Bay in Namibia to Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania as follows:
Namibia. Arrive in Windhoek where we will make our way to Swakopmund via the Desert Express Train. We will stay in Swakop for 4 or 5 days and during this time collect the Cruiser from Walvis Bay and have some extra bits fitted to the Cruiser (i.e. roof tent and engel fridge and split charge system). Zambia. Our first stop will be Livingstone where we will spend a few days at the falls and stocking up on supplies for Kafue National Park. From Kafue we will make our way to Lusaka and then onto Lower Zambezi and then South Luangwa National Park. We have been informed by a friend (who has done it fairly recently) that you can drive out the top of South Luangwa, through Luambe National Park, into North Luangwa and out onto the Great North Road near Mpika. Tanzania. From Mbeya we will travel up to Iringa where we will meet our friends Tim and Becca then onto Ruaha National Park for a few days, back to Iringa and North East to Morogoro. Hopefully we will spend a few days on Zanzibar before heading back down to the Selous Game Reserve and finally back to Dar where our 4 months of adventure will finish.
